SPARROW travels to Salisbury North Carolina

Thank you Literary Bookpost for hosting a fun-filled event for SPARROW!! My family and I had such a great time!

Saturday, November 14th 2015, my family and I traveled to beautiful Salisbury, NC for my second book event. We had so much fun meeting the lovely owner Leslie and some book loving kiddos. It was also a beautiful day which made for some great opportunities for some outdoor pictures in front of this adorable indie bookstore!

We were set and ready to begin the crafts!

And of course, no event is complete without a story time. But who says it has to end with one…This time around there was twice the story time fun!

And every one needs a little chocolate in their life. And when it is in the shape of a bird, it’s that much sweeter!

Let’s not forget silly time which is not only fun, but mandatory when Bentley tags along.

Bentley discovered a new purpose for his binoculars. Not sure how his new friend the Monkey feels about that. :)

A special thank you to Leslie (owner of Literary Bookpost) for hosting, my husband Ricky, daughter Cherylenna, mom Charlotte, and great-nephew Bentley for traveling with me and all of the help and work you all did to make this a successful event. And to my publisher (Arbordale), my editor (Katie Hall) and publicist (Heather Williams) for making this a very special day for myself and Sparrow.

Until the next event, which is December 5th at Pages Book Store in Mount Airy, happy reading and bird watching and always remember to be kind.
